5B measuring amplifiers - MA-FU

 

TRANSFORMED. FREQUENCY BECOMES VOLTAGE.

Ideal for rotation measurement: The frequency/voltage converter measures frequencies and converts them into a proportional voltage signal, which is then adjusted to the input of a PC data acquisition system. The MA-FU is suitable for sine waves and rectangle signals.
 

5B TECHNOLOGY. INDUSTRIAL STANDARD.

The pin assignment of the 5B module corresponds to the 5B module standard of Analog Devices and Burr Brown. An additional 0EX pin has been introduced for sensors requiring unipolar supply to be suitable for connection.
 

8 MEASURING RANGES. 0..5V OUT.

Frequency ranges between 0..50Hz and 0..100kHz can be configured for the MA-FU via solder bridges. A frequency signal applied to the input generates a proportional voltage in the range of 0..5V at the output.
 

UNDISTURBED.

The 6dB output filter eliminates interferences of the output signal. The module features 3 switchable filter cut-off frequencies.

CLEARLY SAFE.

If using several modules, the channels are galvanically isolated to each other and to the DAQ system. This perfectly protects the whole system against high potentials and interferences.
 

SENSORS WELL SUPPLIED.

To operate sensors, either an unregulated ±12V DC supply or a regulated +5V DC voltage are provided.
 

IT'S THE SETTING THAT MATTERS.

The configuration of measuring range, filter range, switching threshold, and the filter cut-off frequency is done via DIP switches and soldering bridges. Offset and gain are adjustable with potentiometers.
 

COMPATIBILITY.

The MA series provides a great variety of measuring amplifiers, measuring converters, or filter modules. They can be used in any combination allowing for the solution of the most individual measuring tasks.
